ADHD Consultancy

I’m Alex. I have ADHD.

Fun fact, back in 1990, I was one of the first 40 people to be diagnosed with ADHD. I’ve almost never not known about my ADHD brain and how to work with it (and against it!). I offer a unique consultancy service that draws from over 30 years of experience living with ADHD. Keep scrolling to find out more...

How can I help?

Thinking ‘outside the box’ is an ADHDers modus operandi. This helps us to problem solve, come up with new ideas but also to digest and retain an inordinate amount of information (so long as we are interested in the topic, of course).

If you are looking for guidance with an ADHD matter here’s where I can help you.

Book me for a ‘Power Hour’ and get all your niggling questions & thoughts answered.

Alex was so helpful and informative. He put our minds at rest and gave us a reassurance we needed to explore getting an ADHD diagnosis for our son.

Why am I the right ADHD consultant for you?

Have you ever chatted with someone about your unique life challenges and felt that they just got you?

A professional ally with ADHD who knows how your brain works (or you childs?)… and where it might struggle to work.

A supportive partner who believes that life with ADHD doens’t need to feel like you’re a slave to your emotions and thought processes.

Oh and someone who uses their powerful combination of being a BACP Therapist, ICF Coach, Mental Health First Aid Instructor, WRAW Resilience Practitioner and over 30 years of living with ADHD to help you thrive?

It’s a lot, I know. But to help make things simpler, I’ve detailed below the most common ‘Power Hour’ requests that people have reached out to me for.

How do you want to spend your Power Hour?

  • Diagnosis Pathway

Realising that you have ADHD is hard enough. Then getting to grips with how you go about getting diagnosed is quite another question. We can discuss your options and together we can figure out the best diagnosis pathway for you (or your child). This process can feel overwhelming so let me help take the pressure off and get you on the right track.

  • Entrepreneur Incubator

As a fellow entrepreneur myself, I know the amazing strengths that ADHD brings to business. I also know how it can be a challenge - particularly with impulsivity and the swirling of ideas that race through our minds. I can help bring some order to the chaos and provide a space for you to take control of your business.

  • Beyond Diagnosis

Once diagnosed, you will no doubt have been offered medication as a treatment solution. I love meds, I wouldn't be able to function without them. However, they don’t help me be more organised, think well of myself or find ways of thriving. There are many other treatments beyond meds. I can help explore what might be appropriate for you.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for, get in touch. I’m sure I can help or put you in touch with someone who can.
